Debby Knauer, RDH, BSDH

Debby Knauer, an Illinois native, moved to Hampton Roads in 1984. Graduating from Old Dominion University in 1991 with a BS in Dental Hygiene, she has been in the dental career for 27 years.

Abby Ricketts RDH, BSDH

Abby is our newest hygienist and was born and raised in Virginia Beach, graduating from Cox High School in 2010.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene with honors from VCU School of Dentistry in 2015.
Abby worked in Richmond several years after graduating, but now she couldn’t be happier to be back in her hometown.

Jennifer Acker RDH, BSDH

Jennifer is a Virginia Beach native that graduated from First Colonial High School in 2000. She went on to graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2005.

Jenny Ross, RDH, BSDH

Jenny grew up in a military family but considers North Carolina home. Her career in dentistry began in the Navy as a dental assistant, while on active duty she graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College with an Associates in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene in 2006. In 2010 after almost 10 years of active military service, Jenny entered in to private practice and loves building relationships with her patients.

Kristy Simpson, RDH, BSDH

Kristy is one of our dental hygienists who has been keeping your smile sparkling for the past 10 years. She attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk where she received her bachelor’s degree in the science of dental hygiene in 2002.

Lissi George, RDH, BSDH

Lissi received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She loves to create long-term bonds with our Hampton Roads patients while working together to improve their oral health.

Sara Jeffers

Sara, a Virginia Beach native, has been with The Art of Dentistry since July 2016. She is a graduate of James Madison University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing. After spending some time in Colorado, Sara moved to Nashville and went to dental hygiene school at Western Kentucky University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
